For security, online casinos often need to verify your Casino Account including:
- the members' date of birth,
- address, and/or
- payment methods.
To do this they need to see a clear colour picture of the relevant documents. Below you will find a quick guide that helps you to complete the Verification Process within some minutes.
Documents to verify your casino account
If you're a new member and you've been asked to verify your casino account details, the casinos online offering slots or any other casino games will need to verify your date of birth and address. They will email you to let you know which documents we need, and you might also see a message about this on site or in the ‘My Account’ section.
Let's start with our quick guide that consists of four steps that you might be required to complete in order to withdraw funds from or continue playing slots online:
To verify your Date of Birth
The casinos can typically accept a photograph or scan of one of the following:
- Driving Licence (the front of the photo card license)
- Provisional Driving Licence (the front of the the photo card license)
- Passport (complete picture of the photo page)
- Birth Certificate (Complete picture of the whole certificate, as long as this is in your current name)
Remember, that they need to see the entire document in one single picture. Please ensure all writing is visible, and nothing has been cut off the image. It helps to take the photograph directly above the document, in good light, on a flat surface.
To verify your address
To verify your address your casino online will require an image of an utility bill (e.g. electricity bill, council tax bill, phone bill or another bill for a service linked to your address) or a bank statement, but must be dated within the last 3 months.
They need to see the following details on your verification document:
- Full name
- Address
- Letterhead/Address of the company sending the letter
- Date (within the last 3 months)
You can use a picture from an online bank statement too.
To verify your Debit or Credit Card
The casino needs an image of the front of your card. You can block out the middle eight digits for security, but they need to be able to see the following:
- The first and last four digits of the long card number.
- The Card holders name
- The Expiry date
You do not need to send them an image of the back of your card, or the middle eight digits.
To verify Bank Details
Casino representatives need an image of a document from the last 3 months, which can be a letter from the bank, a bank statement, or a page from your Online banking. This needs to show the following:
- Account holder's name
- Sort code
- Bank account number
- Bank's letterhead/logo
- Date
