Week 35 | 2016

Top of Slots – Week 35 (04.09.2016)

Something that almost never happens has happened this week. The leaders switched the positions. New slot from NetEnt was beaten by the new slot from Play’n Go after just one week at the top.

Many online casinos focused more on promoting Babushkas than Big Blox week 35. This means that they preferred Thunderkick’s new slot game to the one from Yggdrasil. This is also quite unusual. Normally, the casino managers used to know which slots will perform well already before launch. This summer they seem lost. The fact that The Wild Chase is suddenly back in Top 10 is a proof for their inconsistency.

The only new casino games this week are Peter and the Lost Boys from Push Gaming and Sunset Delight from Thunderkick. None of them has a potential to threaten top slots and they should be out of Top 25 within two or three weeks.

Out of jackpot slots Mega Fortune is up six positions, while its Dreams version is down by eight to number 15. The reason for this is simple. Mega Fortune Dreams jackpot was hit in the end of the month – August 31st, Wednesday. One lucky player won €2,7m. The “classic” MF jackpot is still up for grabs and has reached a €4m mark last week.

Suppliers’ Top – Week 35 (04.09.2016)

A slightly worse week for NetEnt. Play’n Go is still second. We believe that they will continue being second this year. NextGen, Quickspin and Yggdrasil seem to have lost the battle against Play’n Go. For now, it seems that these three suppliers will have to fight with Thunderkick for being the third largest supplier of online slots 2016.

The others including ELK Studios, Lightning Box, Rabcat, Push Gaming, Microgaming, IGT and WMS don’t really stand any chance of reaching Top 5 and are competing with each other for the remaining top 10 positions.
